Born in Hong Kong, Bruce Wong was admitted to The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1995 and joined the City Contemporary Dance Company in 2000. In 2009, Wong was the recipient of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund, a full scholarship to attend the Hollins University/American Dance Festival MFA program in the United State of American. Besides involving in the performances of CCDC, he also participated in various productions, dancing in the concerts of Aaron Kwok and Shirley Kwan, preformed in the musical Luv70% with HOOK Dance Theathre and choreographing (with other eminent dance artists) for the dance productions keep in touch, Venusian, Oh Venusian!, Little Men’s Blue, BSP2006 and Dust. Bruce is also passionate in martial arts, in 2006, he was the Bagwa champion at the 2nd Hong Kong Open Wushu Championship.
